At Everthine Events, we believe celebrations are more than dates on a calendar. They're memories in the making, moments that become stories, and stories that deserve to be told.
Founded by a lifelong creative and experienced planner, Everthine was born at the intersection of romance and precision. Blending editorial-level design with deeply personalized coordination. After years of curating large-scale corporate events, choreographing performances, and designing custom visuals, the spark for Everthine truly ignited during the founder’s own engagement.
While planning her wedding, she saw firsthand what was missing in the industry: not talent, but devotion. The kind of wholehearted care that can’t be templated. A vendor who doesn’t just show up, but throws themselves into the moment (sometimes literally) to make sure every detail is exactly right. Someone who fixes the veil, catches the light, and protects the timeline without missing a beat. Someone who makes their clients feel held, understood, and fully present.
That’s what Everthine was created to be.
A studio built not just on timelines and to-do lists (though we love those too), but on emotion, trust, and an unwavering commitment to creating time-stopping memories that feel as good as they look.
The name Everthine means “forever yours” and when you invite us into your story, that’s our promise.
With care, clarity, and just the right amount of magic,
Everthine
A little poetic. A little practical. Always personal.
Sofia Gutierrez
Experience Curator. Creative at heart. Planner by instinct.
Everthine Events was built on a lifelong passion for storytelling, fueled by vision, versatility, and a deep belief in the power of beautifully planned moments.
Sofia is a proud first-generation Latina who grew up in San Diego, where 16 years of dance shaped her sense of rhythm, detail, and presence. From pointe shoes to contemporary performances to competitive ballroom dances. She balanced that creative expression with academic excellence, serving as President of the Academic Decathlon (placing first at the high school level). Leading her school’s Fashion Club, and graduating with numerous honors and scholarships, including a Presidential Award for over 200 hours of remarkable community service at Scripps Mercy Hospital, personally recognized by President Barack Obama.
Her creative instincts led her to Los Angeles, where she studied Graphic Design, Business Management, and Visual Communications at FIDM. While completing four internships, her experience ranged from dressing high-profile runway shows and working for a Century City PR agency to planning major events for her university, including orientations, summer programs, and the annual fashion show in Santa Monica.
While in school, she joined the West Elm team, where after graduation she quickly rose to become Lead Home Stylist and Visual Merchandiser. Managing a team of seven stylists, while shaping the store’s aesthetic experience. There, she also supported the events department, contributed to social media, and helped launch a digital styling service as part of a pilot program.
When the world paused during the pandemic, she pivoted to luxury travel, joining Viking Cruises as a travel advisor. There, she designed personalized itineraries for ocean, river, and world cruises... often planning multi-month journeys with the same care and clarity she brought to every client interaction.
Eventually, life brought her to Chicago, where she entered the world of commercial real estate but quickly became known for her event expertise. Sofia led planning efforts for art gallery openings, holiday and launch parties, tenant appreciation events, and milestone celebrations. Tasked with overseeing logistics for more than 90 businesses, five departments, and all while building vendor relationships and ensuring every event left a lasting impression.
And then... something clicked.
And that name became Everthine.
The heart of a dancer, the eye of a designer, the brain of a strategist, and the soul of someone who truly believes in the magic of moments well planned.
